FLORIDA FISH AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION
REGIONAL HEADQUARTERS 

Commissioned by Florida’s Department of Management Services, this 15,000 SF regional headquarters complex is located in the City of West Palm Beach’s Loxahatchee Nature Preserve. The complex consists of six raised pods constructed on concrete pilings and connected by a walkway system. The DMS agency was a pioneer and proponent of sustainable design and mandated the selection of sustainable building materials and design that took advantage of natural light, shade and the free flow of air.
