FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
The firm has been a trusted design advisor to the First Presbyterian Church since the early 1980s. The most recent assignment involved the creation of an overall strategic master development plan for phased improvements. The master development plan objectives include creating more parking, new balcony seating, a 25,000 SF youth center including meeting rooms and administrative offices, basketball court/choir room and stage, expansion of narthex and restroom additions, a new visiting pastor’s suite, new porte-cochere and improved accessibility from the parking area, landscape beautification and outdoor children’s play area. The design expansion is compatible with the church’s historic sanctuary and memorial garden which was restored by the firm in 1995 and its “modern” structure which was constructed in the 1960s.
